jack the car up and rest the car

Can you use the donut shaped areas under the car to jack up the car or rest the car on those points?

Put a 2 x 6 lumber from front donut to rear donut, the rest will set on pinch welds. Jack stand under each corner. Works great for long term storage or project work. Access to every thing. Best, Mark

Hello Dave, small chance, I noticed you're in silly con valley where I sold my porche 914 in about 84-85. It was a signal orange 1973 2.0. Someone bought it said he was going to race I think, did major engine work. Do you know if that car is around silly con valley any more?

I assume the car has to be extremely rusty to be in that condition, hope I don't end up like that going down the freeway

When your doors don't open or fit well, then there's a problem.

You'd have to be an awful lot more specific than that. There are a lot of 914s around here. A lot of signal orange 73 2-liters, even. I have seen at least a half-dozen since 1990, when I started noticing 914s.

Wander over to the 914world website, and search the links at the top of the screen for "member's VIN numbers". You can search for the VIN if you know it, and see if anyone has spotted it in more recent years.
