Distributor advance plate lube

Was thinking that some heat sink lube like you’d have on a main CPU in a computer between the advance plates would be ideal

Any thoughts on best lube

I don't think that stuff works well as lube. And no idea what happens if it gets on any of the electrical bits.

Stick with distributor grease.

I did not use it but put a tiny amount of anti seize between the two plates being careful not to get any excess any where and small amount of that red grease and a couple drops of oil

Used red grease on the shafts in various locations and about six drops of oil in the felt in the top of the shaft
