‘73 914 1.7 front sway bar parts

I have been digging for about two years for parts to fit the existing front sway bar on my 73 914… And I have found the attached. However, I am a little surprised by the fact that it appears I need to remove the front shock in order to install it. I never found out who manufactured these, but understand they were used on 912s and 914’s… Does anybody know who’s they are? I wanna make sure I am installing them in the correct direction…

I was able to maneuver the stock bar out and the replacement in again without removing the shocks. I don't remember if I removed the fuel tank, though.

The lever arms you show appear to be Weltmeister pieces. Or near equivalents. Slide the clamp along the arm to stiffen or soften the effective rate of the bar.

Thanks Dave.
Unfortunately… There is absolutely no give in the square opening which slides over the crossbar to angle it on to the bar without removing the shock. I am going to try to loosen fittings on crossbar and see if I get some play.
It’s not like popping off the shocks is a huge project… I was just surprised it was necessary. I don’t suppose anybody has pictures of these installed?
