Not starting

I just got a 73 914 2.0L that had been sitting for awhile and had three bad injectors I replaced them and all injectors now fire. I have set the timeing and checked for spark which I had. The problem is that the car will not start. I have tryed roll starting the car down a long hill figureing that maybe that would work but it didn't. I'm used to working on carburated V-8's so any help would be much appreciated thanks.

check your plugs to see if they're wet with gas. might be a cold start injector leaking whenever the pump runs.

spray some starting fluid into the throttle body to see if it fires on that. If it does, it's a fuel supply problem.

You have spark. Good.

Do you have compression? Do a compression test.

Do you have fuel going into the motor? Does the tailpipe smell like gasoline after you've been cranking the starter for a while?

If you have all three, then the only possible problems are the amount of fuel, and when the spark is happening. You said you checked the timing, but the procedure for checking the static timing is different than when the engine is running. Did you use the correct timing mark (TDC, pretty much) for static timing?

Verify the above, then check your fuel pressure. Should be 29 PSI. Then start checking FI components. For info on that, see http://members.rennlist.com/pbanders .
