Pertronix Ignitor Electronic Ignition

Well, I managed to fry my points and condensor today being a dumbass. Hooked up wires backward. I am looking into this Pertronix ignitor electric ignition. From what I read, it is a good setup. I just purchased a new Bosch blue coil.

I am running dual carbs on my 1.7. I am trying to make sure I get the right one.

There is a 1847 and a 1847V. Is there a real difference. I can get a 1847V through Amazon for $79 compared to a 1847 for $136 through AutoATL.

Just want to make sure to get the right one. Thanks in advance.

The 1847A is for 009 distributors. Then there is an 1847V in II and III. I would call AutoAlanta, then can advise you based on which distributor you have.

It says is comparable to the 009.

The 1847 and 1847A will work. I'm not sure about the 1847V.
