the truth about the pnw
bruce, stop misleading people. the climate we live in (west of cascades, or/wa) is terrible. we don't get to enjoy blizzards, subzero temps for weeks on end, blistering heat,steam bath humidity, tornados, hurricanes, side walks so hot you can fry an egg on them. the rain only keeps our elect rates low(er), things GREEN, and the air scrubbed on a regular basis. did i add they don't have to salt the roads. so in short, pay no attention to what bruce wrote. it's realley quite horrid here.

 Yes! I need to clarify that it is horid here. Why do you think they'd name a town BORING if it wasn't???? It's Boring, we're Boring, everything is boring  That's why I'm leaving for the white sands to become un bored When I first came to Orygun back in the late 60's there was a movement to keep people from moving to the PNW. One of the billboards that greeted people leaving the airport was... Welcome to Oregon... Now that you've seen it Go Home! It didn't last long. A couple weeks & was taken down. bruce in Boring
