904 body required

Hi all - new to Forum trying to find best location for my message?

We have built a 904 here in England but just had a bad accident whilst racing it and need a new body.
Anyone knows where I could source a complete new body or parts? and a new windscreen?

The 904 was a fiberglass body, thus your options are to hire someone that specializes in fiberglass molding. You might get some help, advice from Thunder ranch and Beck since they do replicas of the 904. Automobile Atlanta also did a 904 kit for the Porsche 914.

Forgot to mention, visit kitcars.com if the site is still around. I use to see crazy stuff for sale advertised on that site.

IIRC, Chuck Beck made his 904 replica kit larger than the original in all dimensions. I think the Thunder Ranch ones were also Beck.

Not sure where you'd go for an authentic body. I would suggest talking to other 904 folks in the paddock, if you have any others that run locally; otherwise try to contact various historic racing outfits and see if they'll pass your contact info along.

It probably won't be cheap to splash a mold from an original car, but that may turn out to be the best option.

There was or is a company in England that was making replica 904 can't find them on the internet. You could try 962and904.com he sells 904 bodies that were made from a real 904 the only problem is he is located in Canada. Chuck Beck 904 bodies are custom made for his car. There also a person
in Canada which has a real 904 rear deck and the front from 962and904 front. PM me and I will give you his email address

Someone has a fender, I think on the 911 for sale forum, you also might talk to Adam, he is building a 904 conversation.
