Mid-Atlantic 9:14 Breakfast - Tysons Corner

Hello All~
It looks like the Mid-Atlantic 914 owners will be meeting for breakfast at 9:14 on Saturday June 7th. We will be meeting at the Silver Diner in the Tysons Corner area Driving Directions / Map

Afterwards I think some of us are going to caravan to the PCA Potomac Dyno for charity event in Sterling. We can avoid Route 7, and take the much more fun Georgetown Pike, at least part of the way there :D

Please post info on who is planning to come. If we have enough interest I will call Silver Diner and reserve a big table for the group.

Can't wait to see you all on Saturday!
~Eric

We had fun when we met up in San Diego last year when I traveled there. So while staying on the East Coast temporarily, I'll be able to see what's happening here too!

Rain is forecast for the DC area in the AM with heavy downpours in the afternoon. We'll see who the REAL hardcore folks are! Let's think positive, no Hershey-like weather for tomorrow!

Please NO. It took me two days to dry out from that trip.

If it's not raining too heavy in the AM I'm gonna drive the 914. I got the new Crane unit installed, but I'm not done tuning the Webers (way too rich), so you might be able to smell me coming. And at the rate the weather is going, if I don't drive it in the rain I may not be able to drive it at all.

(Or move it to Sunday and anger all the religious folks I promise to lift when I pass a church )

And I am, which for me usually means watching the US Open (golf) on the tube if the weather is bad and it's a tight match. If Tiger starts to run away from the pack again it'll be a natural for me to be doing something else. I'm sure my daughter will find something for us to do which requires me spending money for her to present me with something.... But you probably know that drill.

Where's the auto-x? Must be a Chessy Chapter event?

I am not driving the 914 tomm, I am close, but there are some bugs that have to be sorted out before I can truly drive it. Look for my 'progress' post in the next couple mins.

Sounds like a great idea, too wet out today for my leaker car...

Reschedule for the 21st sounds perfect. Can Dave do a Sticky for us on the new date?
