Does anyone know how to get a 914 front hood open? Can’t seem to make the lever pop it up. It did a year ago it has been sitting outside now I can’t make it open .Had someone push down on the front hood when I pulled the lever pushing up and down nothing works. I need ideas how to get in there without destroying the front hood or any other parts of the car thanks for any info slammin out.

Have someone push down on the center of the trunk over the latch while you pull the handle.
If that does not work remove the bumper. There is a hole covered by a gromett that is used to trip the lock.
Use a small flat blade screw driver to trip the latch.
