Oil temp and fuel level gauge issues

Would anyone have a photo of the back of an oil temp and fuel level gauge they could easily post showing the wiring and connections? My fuel level is not registering even with a new fuel sending unit, and my oil temp is not showing, either, even though the oil temp sending unit is good. Any other suggestions also appreciated. TIA!

Did you remove the float locking pin near the bottom of the fuel sender unit? I limits the movement of the float for shipping. Does the fuel gauge needle move at all when the ignition is on?
Try grounding the oil sender wire either at the sender or the gauge. I should peg the needle if everything else is hooked up correctly. It just need a positive, ground and sender wire.
