New brake lines?

The floor pan section under the center tunnel in my 914 was completely rusted. While I have the under side opened up I was wondering if there is any reason to go ahead and put new brake lines in. I'm already going to replace the fuel lines and am looking for opinions on the brake lines.

if there are no kinks or dents in the line, I say leave it... the hard brake lines last if they have no physical damage...

but, if you are the LEAST bit concerned... replace them... carefully! and be sure and buy one of the kits like here on pelican that are already the right length... otherwise you will be long in places and short in others(better long than short) b/c they aren't standard sizes like you can get at NAPA... I went the NAPA route b/c I only needed 2 shorter ones(that were bent/twisted) and on one of them, I was very happy with it b/c the stock one was so short(and needed a very tight bend) the longer one allowed for an easier bend... the other one however requried me putting a bend where there wasn't one( I hate unneeded bending in Brake lines)

so choose your destiny... I only replaced ones that were bent, and both of those were up front, connecting to the master cylinder, not the ones to and at the back(they were fine)...
