Repro 914 Flares are here!

A while back, I told you that we would be carrying and reselling the new repro 914-6 GT flares that Automobile has been offering. Well, knowing that in the past things didn't quite materialize, I waited before selling them. I am pleased to announce that I have a set here in my hands right now.

They look very good, and are good quality. Probably a level of about 98% of what the factory flares are. The only difference is that these are not painted black, and don't have a Porsche factory sticker on them. I would definitely use these on my own car The metal forming is good, and it would be difficult for me to tell the difference between them if you laid the factory ones down next to these. In fact, I've had some factory flares in the past that weren't painted and were all rusted, etc. These look great compared to those older ones.

With the new OEM flares priced at $2600, I doubt that Porsche will sell another set for the next decade. AA is retailing these for $950, we have them for $899.95. They are not in our catalog just yet, but I did add them to the database. I have one set in stock, but will be getting more in, within the next week. If you want this one set (again, I have it here, in stock sitting in my office, next to me as I write this), then I suggest you order it quickly, as we expect a bunch of orders. Wayne - I have just followed your link and it comes up with a list of 371027 different parts, can you repost the link - I'm quite keen on the flares but will need to liase with someone about the most cost effective way to ship to the UK.
