What an amazing trip!
Breakdowns - none permanent. Accidents - none Policia - uh-huh! Jail ? Almost BUT we all made it back! More details later! A good time was had by all! James |
Hi James,
sounds like a fun run wish I could have made it......and good to hear that everyone made it back safe!;) |
Ummmm, let me guess, someone made a U-turn in Ensenada or some other silly thing like that???? Glad the trip went good and I bet the cars were a big hit?!

Speeding...
The Leader - Red Beard got tagged for 68 mph in a 90 kmph zone.. Of course I was doing 110 mph a minute before. We had to "leave" a guy at the boarder. He walked across. Immigration issues. Mike95125 is renamed smokey the gorillia. Had to fix leaking valve cover 4 times. Richard lost all power - Battery cable Had to push start Kevin a couple of times The Honda preformed flawlessly.... Waiting for Daniel and Chris - Just what were they trying to smuggle through customs? Special one time only offer by Customs - "Give me $195 and I'll let you through." Chris ended up "jumping and running" and walked across the boarder, no problem. |

Yeah, the Honda's not the only one that didn't require any menchanical attention.
So, Rich and I logged about 468 miles. I'll have the pics and a few short videos up shortly. SmileWavy -mike "Winner of the 2003 Socal Baja Run's most reliable porsche award." (Though, red-beard's car didn't have any issues I believe either. Musta been the wax he put on before we arrived.) |

That trip looks AWESOME.
Kevin, your car is gorgeous. Mike pulled his valve covers 4 times on a smoking hot engine? That is hard core, man. |
