Pics of 914 wrecks

I had a link to a website that had pics of 914 wrecks, but i lost it.

Does any one know the one i mean.

One pic in particular was a newspaper clip of some guys that jumped an opening drawbridge.

If anyone has the link post it for our enjoyment.

Thanks
Conrad

That drawbridge thing was great.

Lesson: Never try to put 3 guys in a 914 - testosterone level gets too high, and the IQ gets too low!

...but the MADE IT!

Gotta work on their landings, though

(Notice that it was one of the faster "yellow" 914's)

Thanks

Thats the one i was looking for.

One of our locals wiped a corner off his 914 at an autocross last week. It was still drivable, we just pulled the fender off the tire and he was good to go, with one less tail light though.

I was going to send him this link to help lift his spirits.

His car was a 71, I wonder if it 'had' one of these rare 'V' rear bumpers. Not that I can terll the diff.

What is the diff?

Conrad

The flat part where the license plate goes has curved edges on most 914 bumpers. On the 1970s (some early 71s?) and possibly all the Sixes the edges of that flat area are angled, not curved.
