Clutch pressure plate

you guys ever hear of a copper pressure plate at all. I know there is an all steel one, but this one seems to be much lighter and it looks to be copper. Is it some form of racing pressure plate or what? and is the copper suppose to have little groves to grip(kinda like a record)?

Used on some of the 911 "S" cars. Lighter weight was the primary feature, though I believe they also dissipated heat a bit better than stock. There was some kind of funky expensive clutch disk or flywheel that went with it... I forget exactly...
