Front sway bar during alignment

Hi All

I have an adjustable droplink swaybar in the front of my 74 six conversion. I have replaced quite a few suspension parts and performed a home alignment. Now am going to take the car for four wheel alignmnet. What are your thoughts in regard the swaybar at the time of alignment. Should I remove one of the links, keep it in place with zero preload, or preload it to some value I might use for regular driving. Persumedly the alignment will be done on a rack so the swaybar will be at its neutral position. I realize the swaybar shouldn't haave any effect, but
I could easily imagine translation of the forces across the car when setting the castor and camber.

Thanks Mark

I just told the guys at the shop (a local Porsche specialist) that I had a swaybar when I took it in for a 4-wheel alignment and corner balance and let them do whatever it is they do (I'm so trusting )

You dont want preload, even when you are driving. The reason you have adjustable drop links is to dial the preload out. Naturally, it is impossible to eliminate preload when you are cornering...
