Turn the key. I hear Fuel Pump running.
Turn to start. I only hear "CLICK!" and no crunking. Is this because of Bad Starter? or any thing else. The car was running fine today. I came back to park the car at my parking space of my apartment. Now I went down to start the car to get something to eat I does not start. The parking space is in B2 level so it is going to be hard to tow ![]() |

Could be the switch. Turn the ignition on (parking brake, in neutral etc).
Find the T12 connector on the engine relay board. With the connect plugged in, carefully remove the cover of the connector. There should be a large red wire and large yellow wire. Use a jumper wire to short ther red & yellow wire together. The car should start..., else it could be a starter or battery |

Be sure the batt is charged, and make sure the ground strap on the transmission is sound and well attached. You can just use a jumper cable to augment the ground strap to test that.

Thanks for advice. I also checked few posts and I realized that this is common problem on 914.
One thing, Generator warning light and Oil Pressure warning light do not get dimed even I turn the key till I hear "Click". Does it mean I have bad switch? and/or starter? ![]() |
