Temp gauge
My BRAND SPANKIN NEW 914 has no oil temp gauge in the cluster
Is it possible to put one in? Are the sensers already there or would I have to put those in also? Thanks Adam

yes. for the 2.0L, if the car wasn't equipped with the console, the car got an oil temp gauge in the top (where the brake warning light is) of the left gauge. you can put in a sending unit in the bottom of the engine (the "taco plate") and the car may already be wired for the gauge. if it's a 73 or later, i think all cars came wired for the console. it is "supposed" to use the green/black wire for the temp gauge (of course you can use any wire you want!).

2.0L cars, 73 & up, that did not have a center console, had the oil temp gauge in the top of the combo gauge. (I think.)
