Pre-Baja Driver Meeting
Well, an ethereal meeting anyway:
TOOLS! What everyone is taking with them. I plan to bring my main tool box, oil and some spares, along with the magic gasket stuff and a fire extinguisher. What are the rest of you planning to take on the trip? James

I will bring some basic tools, spare belt, spare throttle and clutch cables, Halon Fire extinguister, FRS radios, cover-alls, flashlight, oil, J-B weld and that is about it. I think Ron was bringing a spare parts car too. I think I remember reading that somewhere.

Cool driving tunes to drown out Co-Pilot jabber, WATER(and lots of it), Sunscreen, hat and do-rag, lighter and something to use that lighter for, change of clothes, toothbrush, comb, war paint, and probably some spare parts, fluids, and shop rags too!
I guess proper tools and jumper cables could come in handy too.

I'll be bringing my Special Attache', One clean underpants, assorted chocolates, a sponge, a rrrrrrruubber bandana, and a Daisy repeater.
Take lots of pics, make sure you all have cameras! M
