wrenching update
Photo of the assembled case.
Cleaning the new pistons and cylinders in the dishwasher, every wifes nightmare. Could not see myself spending $30 for a ring compressor when a strip of brass does the same job.

A large hose clamp makes a good piston ring compressor as well.

i heard of a guy who carried 3 trannys in the front trunk of a 914 but carrying a dishwasher in the front trunk beats that
