wrenching update

Photo of the assembled case.
Cleaning the new pistons and cylinders in the dishwasher, every wifes nightmare.

Could not see myself spending $30 for a ring compressor when a strip of brass does the same job.

Did she make you take the dishwasher out to the back yard. I just do it when she isn't around.

A large hose clamp makes a good piston ring compressor as well.

I seriously entertained the idea of using the kitchen DW when wife was out of town, but then on my way home from camping last weekend I found this DW on the side of the road with a "Free, works" sign on it.
Sometimes I get lucky.

i heard of a guy who carried 3 trannys in the front trunk of a 914 but carrying a dishwasher in the front trunk beats that
