My new dash i just made

for the past couple weeks i have been making a new dash to cover the cracked up wood veneer, that was installed by the previous owner. this week end i finally got it to my liking, i just have to attach it here's a photo with the loose install.

What do you guys think? its just 1/8" sheet aluminum that i excessively sanded with a scotch-brite pad then clear coated it.

Aluminum looks really nice on the car.

One of the best looking dash I have ever seen on the 914.

Great job!

dash

That really looks great and brightens up the whole inside of the car. Did you have any problems with the glove box opening ?

i'm still playing with the glove box to try and get it to look right and sit straight, but it should only take a little tweeking than i'm going to glue it over the existing wood that was on it.
