I've always wanted to put one on my 914.

Is it possible to replace the gas gauge with a temp and gas gauge on the dash cluster?

Thanks

Adam

Yup, just run the wires to the temp gauge part.

The 2.0 cars that did not have a center console had those gauges. Ditto the 914-6es, if you have an early car. (But yours is a 74, so the later one would match better.)

Porsche Crest Gauges

For my 914, I used a 930 tach with the boost gauge at the bottom. North Hollywood Speedo can convert the boost gauge to a Fuel level gauge that works with the stock sending unit, add the appropriate lettering, and convert to 4 cylinder if needed. Then I replaced the 914 combo gauge with a 911 oil temp/oil pressure gauge.

North Hollywood also sells a triple 914 gauge (oil temp/pressure & fuel) with 3 idiot lights, just click 'Goodies of Interest' AT THIS LINK

As another option, Patrick motorsports sells/modifies the 930 tach to show oil pressure instead of boost.

Best,
Barry
