VA/MD/NC/DC Gathering Photos
Thanks again to Kerry, and Jessica for putting on a great day. I hope you neighbors will speak to you again.
This is just wrong: Scott pi$$ed off Randy's 914 for the last time:

John,
I saw that too, glad someone got a picture of it, my camera was not at hand when I saw it. Can't wait to see Eric's pics posted as well. Nathan

I think Eric got the camera ready in enough time to capture it before we whizzed past, it was pretty funny. I guess my next investment is going to be a digital camera... and a spare alternator belt.

Sunday was a blast! Thanks to everyone who helped set the event up!
Here are my pics: http://itvl.com/eric/_cars/kerry914/ I was able to get one of the mini truck on the car carrier, and the group pictures of the cars turned out great, I can't wait to see the ones taken from the roof. ~Eric

Proof that a white 914 traveling @ 95 mph looks to be traveling only 65?
Ingore the little white car...go after the red mini van... I think he did not pull me over simply becuase we all would have stopped. What a mess that would have been...

Nathan, you get credit for my latest desktop background... My captions are: For my next trick I will remove plugs 3 and 4 wih my teeth! Or demonstrating the full AA position...
![]() BTW, Anybody figure out what that relay was for? It was a silver box with what looks like injector leads running to it 8 total...

I'm guessing it's a 1.8, then?
Either the resistor pack (drops the voltage going to the injectors so they don't get fried) or the dual relay (powers the FI and the fuel pump). --DD

DD,
All cars but two were 2.0's (and the 914-6, of course) and it was the late year 2.0's that have the box, if memory serves. The yellow '75 that Scott has his head stuck in is one with the box in question. |

Darlene and I arrived in Maumee at 7:15 P.M. Much less trouble
going Home . Kerry and Jessica thank you for hosting this get togeather. My wife and I know how much work these events are. This was the first 914 event Darlene has ever went to with me. I think it's not the last. The topic of conversation last night was what a nice group of people were there. Any way thanks again Dave and Darlene Kimple Barberdave
