Got the itch
Just thought Id share. Im currently tring to satisfy my itch for another 914. It wa a near perfect red 74 914 2.0. It was my first porsche and the funnest. I needed AC due to longe commutes in the florida sun and traded for an 86 944 and then purchased a 76 911. Neither of these cars have satisfied me like the 14. I am thinking I want a project car so I can make it the way I want. I would also eventually like to run it in the local SCCA events and smoke my buds turbocharged 2200lb. miata. ANy info on a Florida 914 Project would be appreciated.

There is a swap meet in Jax on Oct 25 at Brumos Porsche. I've gone the last two years and there is always a couple of 914 for sale or enough 914 people to get the latest news.
Also try the Fla PCA region's websites for cars for sale. Paul

Shape
The 911 is in near perfect condition. It had a rebuild a few years ago w/upgrades, studs, oil fed tensioners, tubo valve covers, exhaust and so on. New paint including new door skins, hood, and dack lid, just polished the FUchs, new carpet, seats are next, AC last. I would probably trade for a 914-6. Other than that I am going to buy a project 4.
