Blown drive shaft seal

Woke the other day to find my teener bleeding gear oil all over the garage floor. Close inspection showed that the left side drive shaft seal had partially popped out of the trans case.
Both seals (from PP) are relatively new, installed last January with about 7k miles since then.
Anyone else ever had this happen? Any explanation?

- Matt

Never heard of drive flanges coming off...

Have you checked the vent on top of the tranny? Make sure it is pointing in the correct direction and that it is not stopped up with crud.

Also, I use a bit of Loctite 574 on the outside of the drive flange seal.
