Exhaust Stud Torque ?
I'm putting a set of SS heat exchangers on my 2.0
One of the studs came out with the nut. I used the torch to heat it up and got the nut off. What is the correct torque to put the stud back in with ? I used 12 ft lbs. It felt about right. But is the correct number ? Went thru everything. Can't find the number listing anywhere.

12 or 15 lbs. I think tight enough so there is no exhaust leaks is the "correct" number! Dont over tighten them, a busted stud can be a way to make you go prematurly bald.
