are the raby type IV videos still available?
How can I get my hands on one of these?
Are they good for a beginner like myself to learn how a type IV is put together, in case I want to rebuild one myself someday?

You can get it here http://www.bugmevideo.com . It's a very good video but it's best used in conjuction with a 914 manual like Haynes or Tom Wilson's book.

Ouch?? Compared to what?
Compared to breaking part of your crankcase because you forgot one of the not-so-obvious through bolts when splitting the case? Compared to a workshop manual? Compared to both Haynes and the Wilson book together? ...Depends on your frame of reference.... --DD

Yep, I'm all out of them......... 40 bucks is dirt cheap to be ablke to watch some of the things that we see give problems all the time.
The video is VERTY basic, made for a novice. The performance video will be VERY comprehensive probably 2-3 volumes.. The upright conversion video is all done and will be on sale next month! I'll have 100 of those to sell discounted on the forums.

Jake,
What's covered in the performance video - actually building a high-performance T-4 motor? |

Damn I am absolutely tickled pink when something costs 40 bucks for my Porsche...Sheesh!!!
My rebuild cost me 5k HOWEVER it included some extras and I didn't do it myself. 40 bucks and your time and effort will mean more to you! |
