sideshift shifts haft seal replacement
Sideshift shift shaft (say that five times fast) I am replacing this seal, but am not sure if I should drill out the retaining pin and replace it, or if there is a better way. Can I drive it out with a punch? The tranny is out of the car.
If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. 72 914 5.0L Grey primer with one red fender Should be back in action next weekend. |

I just did this three weeks ago. I followed the tech article and it came out perfect. I used the same method for removing the pin as in the article.
