Tires

I think this may be a dumb question but what is the biggest tire that I can fit on a pair of empi wheels.

Depends on the wheels, and to some extent the car. Do you have them on the car now? If so, what size tires do you have, and how much room do you have on each side of them? The problems are almost always in the rear of the car, usually on one side.

I have the stock tires on right now and have very little room but I had one 205 60 15 on this other rim and it fit under the fender great. My question is what is the biggest tire size i can fit on empi rims?
Will they fit a 205 60 15? The rim looks narrow.

Remember that the stock tire sizes on a 914 would be 165s... 205s are nominally 40mm wider, which is a bit under 2 inches.

Empi rims can be lots of different sizes. Have you measured their width? Or checked for numbers on the back, like "5.5J15"?

205s should fit on 5.5" rims, but that's probably the limit. I don't think you'd easily find too many tire busters willing to try 205s on 4.5" wide rims.
