For the factory setup, 29 PSI is the correct pressure. (Actually 29 and a little bit of change--2 Bar or 2 atmospheres is the exact spec.) This is the same for Euro-spec motors as it is for US-spec motors.

Putting headers on the engine will change its fuel needs slightly. Frankly, I'm not sure how. Either stick with factory, or fudge it up (maybe) 2 PSI. Or do it right and take the car to a dyno that has a "wide band O2" setup. That will tell you if the mixture is too rich, too lean, or pretty close to right.

"Right" in the case of our air-cooled engines is NOT 14.7:1--the engine will tend to run too hot that way. Shoot for somewhere between 13:1 and 13.5:1, getting close to 12:1 on full-throttle acceleration.
