				Report From the Tijuana Race

The weekend went great. I was with cars with 2.0L engines but I gave up a lot of weight. Finished 6th of 23 cars in the class and did my first standing start in many years. Signed lots of autographs. The class had Honda CRXs, Acuras, GTIs, Mazadas, etc. The course was brand new concrete and was really slippery until some rubber got laid down and the traffic circle was very unusual since it had a slight downward slope for water runoff. So coming into the circle you had some help but as soon as you started around it to the left it went off camber and was the seen of several spectacular off road crashes. Seems as though when the guys would loose it they would hit the curb side on so they would roll a couple of times! I'll post some pictures in a day or two.
