My 914th Post, it is time

Well, this is my 914th post on here. I am taking it as a sign to get off my butt and install the new engine in the car and get it running for next weekend. I have found a few parts I am missing which I can add later. So, I am going in now and not stopping till the engine is in the car and running. Wish me luck all.

It's in, now I just need to get it running.
It wont let me add a picture though.

I want everything to be right this time so I am double checking everything. I cleaned up and painted the heat exchangers since they were looking a little dingy. I am cleaning up other parts as I go but the engine will run tomorrow for sure. It's not that easy putting this thing in by myself. I must be getting old because I dont remember it being so difficult to move the engine around all assembled. The only part I think I am missing is the thermostat cable. I can run without that especially since it is so cold out this time of year. I want the heat hooked up as well so I am cleaning all those parts up to reinstall. I dont want to make another post until the car runs whether it is bad or good. So keep checking here for updates. Thanks for the vote of confidence Pappy!

Has anyone used that high temp ceramic spray paint? If so, how does it hold up?? I just used some and it flows really nice. I did my heat exchangers with it and they look really nice. I just wonder how it will hold up to the heat from the exhaust. It says it will handle up to 1200 degrees, How hot does the exhaust get?

Do what Miles did and don't post any new posts, only edit old ones so your count remains the same.

Yeah, do what I did.

It's legal proof if you ever need it in court.
