Hella H4 Halogen or silverstar headlamps
i bought silver star head lights at advanced auto and my car came with Hella H4 Halogen lights should i put the hella lights back in?
oh and the lights are both 55-60 watt silverstar better close to hid |

Are you unhappy with the Silverstars? If you go to http://www.sylvania.com/auto/carapp/ and do a search for Porsche 914, you will find the Silverstars which should work fine with your car.

If the H4s are the "European" pattern, with the very distinct horizontal cut-off of the light on low beam (and the angle upward to the right), they're Good Stuff. The bulb itself is relatively-easily replaced on them, and you can upgrade to higher-wattage bulbs for a reasonable amount of money.
On the other hand, if you like the Sylvanias, go ahead and stick with them. --DD
