Again, Stoddard has them, part# 999.512.103.02. Strap and key. I hope I'm not on the same road as the guys who use duct tape or parts from the hardware store. Any wonder why some 914 owners don't get respect from the other Porsche folks.

When you run over parts of my cars, you can rest assured that they are Genuine OEM.

If the hardware store parts are cheaper, easier to use, and work just as well, why not? Most of us don't care a lot about "originality", particularly when we see a better way to do things.

I think I'll get one of those dryer hose clamps, as my multiple tie-wrap solution is not "better", merely more convenient...
