anyone know for sure if that rubber part is the same?

My plates have some rust on them so I dont know if replating is an option.

AJUSA was tried already.

You said that you tried AJUSA only. Did you call and talk to John Chi? He's a Bus guy and a 914 guy, as well as being one of our Sales staff. He's got a decent chance of knowing if the Bus parts work.

The drivers side is not available. Both Pelican and Tweeks think they have them, but they are all passenger side. Tweeks sent me one, Pelican tried twice. This was as of about a month ago.

I gave up and just used my ugly used one.

I picked up R & L ones on ebay for $20.00, be patient if you can and some nice ones will come along.

I purchased a set for my 75 from porsche about a year ago. Im sure they are still available. They come with the metal plate and rubber stop. I still have the old ones which are very presentable if you cant find a new set.
