How to obtain a new style Boxter Engine and Tranny?

What would be the cheapest way to get ahold of new Porsche engines. Is there a Distributer? Or do you have to go to the Dr.$$$$$

Get an issue of Excellence or Panorama,
there are a few auto dismantlers advertising
the boxsters and 996's that they are parting out.
Also try partsheaven or EASY, or www.aasebros.com

The next three sites also have complete boxsters and 996 for sale which have either been in an accident or flood damaged.
The flood damaged cars look very tempting to turn into a serious race car.

Also, I found this on the Rennlist site (sorry Wayne !!!)
E-mail: martinkaminski@hotmail.com

complete engine $3000USD
transmission (5spd) $1000USD
differential $1000USD

To me this seems a little too cheap, but I guess there is not a real market for this stuff yet.

I'm not sure why the tranny and differential are being sold seperately, unless the diff is a limeted slip and he thinks someone with a standard diff would buy it.
