Ebay scam by hussy

I already emailed this fellow, but he still continues to post new auctions for this.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1872892292
I'm sure there are new 914 owners out there that think they are getting a rare clear lense. When they are actual getting the Italian lense that he states these are not them. His auction states the amber and clear ones are the Italian, when they are actual the Euro's. Anyone else want to email this scammer.

Those are the Italian lenses. They are not super rare but do sell for more than the US or Euro ones.

I don't know why they are trying to confuse everybody and call the Euro Amber/Clear ones "Italian Clear" lenses. Sheesh, typical AA, Stay Away...

This ebay guy is not the "George Hussey" of AA. He is obviously unaware that the clear/amber lens is the Euro lens, not fake Italian. The clear lens he is auctioning are, ofcourse, Italian lens.

Interesting fact is, if you have a set of Euro lens, you can convert them to Italian, clear lens, by cleaniing off the dark amber plastic wash on the inside with Asetone. Takes about an hour to do it.

I emailed him and he insists I don't know what I am taking about. I even sent him the pelican page that shows the lenses for sale. He still insists I don't know what I am talking about. Oh well some people just like to rip others off for a buck or two.

Is this actually George, or Greg Treadway?

Not that it really makes a difference, but Treadway was behind most of the previous ebay shenanigans.

You can buy the clear lenses directly from the AA site for $39.99 a pair!

It does not appear to be Treadway or George. Just someone else with a similar Evil-Bay screen name.

Oops, DDD is right (as usual) -- it's just some random ebayer from Texas, doesn't appear to be AA.

Just goes to show, we never pass up a chance to bash AA.

I know him

I know this guy. Richard Marcus is his name. I wasn't too happy with the dealings I've had with him. Be careful!!

I won an auction from this 2bit_hussy guy on dec. 4-- Two weeks later still had not heard anything. I emailed him and he replied saying he would get to the bottom of it? Two weeks later STILL
nothing. I made a claim to paypal buyer protection to get my money back and the next day he sent an email saying he had just shipped the items. Paypal got my money back--we'll see if I
still receive the items.

This guy has a great feedback rating but he is still odd to deal with. BEWARE

hmmm, the guy lives a few miles outside of Austin TX in the middle of nowhere. His "yard" is littered with the objects that remind on vehicles. He pretty regularly offers bits and pieces from VW's and kit cars, occasionally classic Porsche parts...

I had won some stuff from him before, he sold me a 12 volt heater that doesnt work worth a hill of beans. I had won something else from him but he never left feedback for me on any of the auctions. I clicked on the link above and it says invalid item. Guess he pulled it or something.
