Removable rear flare

I've decided I like the look of a 914 that only has flares in the back. A stock front can handle the width of my 7" Borbets, but in the back I want to run 9" Borbets. Does anyone know of a nice looking rear flare setup that rivets on that would handle a 9" wheel. I am also interested in possibly having the panels flared out with the ol' hammer and shotbag. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and or pics. Pete

You could rivit on fenders like Scott Schroeder's Martini car. I think any 'glass flairs would work for that. Just make sure the edges look nice.

I'd personally go with the setup like ghiaspecialties has. A smoother flair would look much better if you are going for a rear-only look. It'd look something like this:

Aaah, Richard Fisher's V8 monster. Now it has very cool (but subtle!) flames on it...

Hi Pete,

Here is my album on flaring in case you haven't seen it. My video will be done in the next few months...or are you looking for someone to do the flares for you?

The 924 GT had add-on flares in the rear. Might give you an idea of how it would look. The Chastain Capri also had rivet on but they were long imsa type flares. Try Google image search.
