Fresh air box seal
Is the gasket that fits around the screen on the fresh air box still available? Mine's in pretty bad shape and I'm thinking up ideas to do if I can't buy a new one.

jamcleod, I did notice the gathering but after pulling out my gas tank to fix a leak I decided to pull the fresh air box and check back there . . . then I remembered that my wipers are running a little slow so now I've decided to pull the wiper rack. The deeper I get the more parts I need to replace. And mail order isn't real quick. Add to all that trying to maintain the house and finalizing plans for a wedding in 1.5 months, my time's been pretty tight. I think the car's going to be in the air for a few weeks to fix all this -- and I just realized that I have the intermittent wiper relay on my car. It doesn't work so I'm going to have to look into that too!
I did check AA (don't really want to go that way) and they showed it as NLA. Besides for a 74-76 their last price was $90. Ouch. I think I could come up with some stainless mesh painted black and a different seal for less than $90. Thanks for the link ein 6er. I wonder how much it would cost to have a batch made up if they really are NLA. If I can't find a decent one used I'll definitely be making one up. Thanks, Joel

Anyone know if Glenn Sager is still around and selling parts? I tried sending him email at a914luvr@ earthlink.net but came back as "undeliverable". I've ordered from him in the past and used this address. Anyone know if he's changed his email or how to get in touch with him?

Yes, he's around. He changed providers and therefore email addresses. Check the swapmeet thread stuck to the top of the board for contact info for him.
