Chassis Stiffening Kit Installation

What kind of shop should be capable of installing a Chassis Stiffening Kit and rear Boxed arm stiffeners?

Also, as far as getting fiberglass flares installed are there any questions I should ask the body shop before I have them do the work?

Thank you kindly

Luke

Well, the body shop can do the kit as well as anyone. AFA the flares, I would only ask, "Done this before?" If not, keep going.

What can one expect to pay for the install of the kit?

Typical cost for fender flare install?

Thanks everyone for being so friendly.

I love this forum

Luke,

Do you have the matching front/rear valances as well as matching lower side panels/long. covers? Your body shop will need these to turn out a quality job.

I've seen too many fiberglass fender installations where those pieces were not provided to body shop and the end product ended up with less than good results.

A friend of mine had flares installed without providing any of the above mentioned parts and the front flares were off by at least 1" in the horizontal plane from left to right. The end result turned out to be a real mess.

The last comment is quite true. Search on posts by DDS and 'epoxy' and you'll find my earlier blah blah on flares. Results here: www.syer.net

Good luck with it!
