Ignition Coil

This is going to sound like a "dumb" question. How is the "coil" wired. It's a Bosch Blue coil with a positive, a negetive and a distributor connection. Seem to be confused.

Positive goes to your +12v via ignition switch, negative goes to your points and tach, the high-voltage goes to the dist. cap.

Apparently, there are a few different types of Bosch blue coils. This thread http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=62438 can help you determine which is right for your application (e.g., if you are using a Pertronix or Compufire unit).
