Yoko AVS ES100 55's - comments?

Ok guys:
I got the OK from the boss to buy new tires for the 914.
I'm looking at the Yoko AVS ES100s from Tire Rack.
I am ready to buy the 195/55/15s because they're $14 cheaper than the 195/60/15s ($58).
I'm about ready to "pull the trigger" and buy them... any comments about the pros and cons between these 2 sizes?
I may have to go back to the boss and ask for more $$ if you guys suggest the 60s instead!!

Pros: Better handling. Better acceleration. Better feedback from where the tire meets the road.

Cons: Ride harshness. Turning higher RPMs to keep up with traffic. Having to shift more frequently. The rims are not as well protected from damage by potholes, etc. Speedo and odometer will read higher than actual speeds/distances.

The looks, IMHO, are a little worse--but that's entirely a matter of personal taste.
