914 sighting

Saw a black (or dark color) '74 with a rear reflector at the aviation/405 park and ride this afternoon.

Anyone?

Did you see mine on top of a flat bed heading up I-15 to Mira Mesa?

Got it home - wouldn't start - just like the seller said. I could hear the fuel pump running, there's 12V everywhere, but the starter won't do anything. I figure maybe it's the starter frozen up since the car sat for a year. I crawl under the car with a hammer and whacked it eight times (not too soft, not too hard - I had to go to electronics school for two whole years to learn how to do this). Starter still won't do anything, but I thought I heard a clunk this time. It's time for dinner, and I know the battery's getting a little tired, so I hook up the charger and go inside. An hour later, I figure I'll try it one more time. Turned the key......

VROOOOM!

Steve
