hey mountain914, i've been thru conifer, there's a hot dog stand there that looks like a big weiner, right. my dad has friends in Pine, co., i like it up there, you guys have some great views.

Those 914/6s were beautiful. I wish I had two - one to drive and the other in a hermetically sealed bubble just to look at.

I taped it, and when I keep re-playing the part when all the cars come around a left-hander, I turn the volume up - if you close your eyes it sounds like a bunch of WWI biplanes buzzing by.
I was channel surfing when I caught it at the beginning, and was so shocked to see a 914, I tripped over the coffee table to put in a tape. Ended up getting the whole show, including the goofy off-road stuff - WOW it was bad back then. What in the world were those 3-wheeled, fiberglass coffins they were racing? Certainly don't mind missing that lil' piece-a history, thank you very much...
