Final sheetmetal install today Mount the tranny and starter Install the new fuel lines Install my old Gas Tank (from the 1971 while I Por-15 the 914/6 tank) Mount the engine! Install the oil lines Tomorrow Install carbs Install the HE's and Exhaust FIRE IT UP!!!!

Well, good luck with it all, I am glad to know that I am not the only one working on my car this weekend. Joe is on his way over to help me move the car around so I can finish up the other side installing the chassis stiffening kit. It has to be facing away from the street so as not to hurt anyones eyes while I am welding. I could fabricate some shield I suppose, but it will be easier to just turn the car around. When you fire it up and get it running, do a wav file of it so we can hear it. If it sounds half as good as your old one, it should be sweet.
