Looking for stolen wheels

Joe Buckle had his car over at a guys place for some work to be done. He was getting upset because it was taking so long. The car sat over there almost a month. Anyway, I get a call yesterday morning that joes car had been vadalized. This is what we found when we got there.

They were the fully polished Fuchs he got from D&G last fall. They had brand new Yokohama 195X50X15 tires mounted on them with less than 200 miles. They should be easy to spot, they were the most perfect wheels I have ever seen. When I say perfect, I mean they were like mirrors. If you see any for sale that fit this description, let me know. Its just wrong for this to happen. They did some damage to the car too and I would really like to see these guys caught. They are obviously VW guys, They used a Bilstien jack and left it behind, Joe didnt have a jack in the car.

What a bunch of zeroes (the thieves). If they put the wheels on their car, I hope someone turns around and steals them from them.

Nah, they'll take better precautions to prevent that from happening to them.

The only thing you can hope for is that they get hammered by an SUV, both without insurance, and their powertrain and stolen rims are all bent useless.

That's what usually happens to felons; what goes around, comes around.

We are going out tomorrow to find him something to put under it to get it out of there, they are the 4 lug 2 liter Fuchs. Yes, they tweeked the rear fender pretty good. Some minor damage on the passenger side too. He just wants to get it home and away from trouble.

That bites!! What goes around comes around...and those dudes will definately get theirs. I would freak out if someone messed with my car especially after all of the work and love I've put into it.

Late,

Eddie.

Thank you to everyone, I was hoping Joe Buckle would post in here, I just sent him the link to it. I am not sure what he intends to do but we talked yesterday and I think he is going to do something today on it.

They probably won't show up on a 914. More likely a beetle or squareback.

Thanks to everyone for the offers of help

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to everyone who offered wheels and help.

Thanks to Glenn @ Precision Motion for fixing me up with a new set of Fuchs and tires at a fair price.

Thanks to Scott Kline for riding shotgun and helping me pick up the wheels and get the car back to his place before the strip the engine!!

i'm sure Scott Kline will post some pics of the car with the new wheels.

Again, thanks for the offers of support and loaner wheels.

Joe

Here is a picture of Joes car with the new shoes on it. The tires are not quite as nice as the ones he had but it will get him around and get it to the paint shop.
