Injector availability
My cousin who works for NAPA mentioned that she heard that Bosch was going to stop making the injectors (at least for the '75 914s) Anyone else heard this? Should I stock up on 'em now?
Are there other companies making (rebuilding) these things? |

I don't know if they still do or not, but I once picked up a set of "Filko" brand injectors from a local parts chain store. This was probably seven years ago, now??

Bought a set of rebuilt (or non-Bosch - hard to tell) injectors for my '76.
One went bad at about 350 miles (50 miles longer than my $250 Bret rebuilt MPS lasted....) So I just bought 4 new '74 Bosch injectors from GPR for about 2/3 the price of '76 injectors. As soon as my AA rebuilt MPS goes bad (only 150 miles so far....should be any day now) I'm buying carb's and being done with it (and I HATE carbs......).

Forget carbs for lots of reasons...
Go to aftermarket PEFI...better results than carbs... ![]() |
