Hurricane Ivan- 1, Porsche 914- 0

Last month I submitted a post about my 914 being flooded during Hurricane Ivan. I mentioned that the local paper ran a picture of another 914 that was flooded. Here is a scan of that picture and a link to the newspapers web site that includes several slide shows of the storm. The one with the 914 is by Karena Cawthon (second picture). If you want to get a sense of what the storm did to the Pensacola area, take a look at the other slideshows.

I still haven't had time to tear into my 914. Maybe this week. Still rebuilding.

By the way, all of those trees in the picture had leaves on them the day before the storm. The cars and debris were washed across the street into the ladies yard by the storm surge.

Was your 914, the red one on e-bay a little while back? It's sad, very sad.
