Porsche Crest Cylnder head temp sensor

Hy my 914 is running very rich and have been looking near the pressure sensor and have found a loose black cable and I think it is the Cylinder head sensor. It is on the right side near number three spark plug. My car is a 1972 1.7 and don't know where it plugs into or how. I need a little help Thanks.

Yep, sounds like it unplugged. Should be a plastic connector right there for it to plug into with a white wire coming out of it.

There is a hole in the tin under the manifold cyl#3. If no wire on sensor replace it. If wire under tin pull it throgh hole and plug it in the FI harness small plastic end on an single wire. Also check vac on MPS should hold good vaccume several min. Good Luck DJ
