Got reamed by a vendor
This tuesday before 3pm i made a purchase online at an anon. parts vendor. I left something off the order and called in at like 3:30 and had it added and asked specifically if everything was in stock, the guy on the other side checked and said everything was in stock and it would ship tomorrow (wednesday night). SO I was anticipating the package on friday because the parts were going to be used on a weekend project.
NOW i get an email tonight at 7:00 PM on thursday that one of the items was out of stock so the order was held. WTF??? This is so annoying. I called and SPECIFICALLY ASKED if these items were in stock. This is the SECOND time this vendor has done this.

ask them if they will knock off the tax or shipping. that just isnt good customer service.....

I have to say that I think it is very annoying that they wait until everything is in before they ship your order, at least the vendor I am thinking of. Found this out the hard way, why would I do 2 day shipping if I wanted to wait for something that wasn't in stock
. Now if I place an online order I still call and tell them to ship what they have and not wait.
